Participants who need housing are required to specify their choice when they apply for participation in the program(s) organized by the Institute. Upon receipt of the application and confirmation on participation, the housing officer will book the preferred lodging for you. Please note that the availability of your preferred lodging is subject to room availability and the prevailing rate is also subject to change. If your preferred lodging is not available, we will contact you on an alternative lodging. You will be informed of confirmed booking through E-mail.

Private accommodation/University apartments

For those visitors who are interested in private accommodation, the Institute will try to provide the best possible assistance in all matters concerning the rental of rooms/apartments. However, we do not rent apartments/rooms in advance or sign contracts on behalf of our visitors, but act exclusively as a point of reference for our guests and for local apartment / room owners. The availability and costs are controlled by local market conditions.

The University also has a limited number of apartments available for rent (at market rate) to IMS visitors.
